Our Accreditations
International Baccalaureate (IB)
As an IB World School, we are accredited to deliver three programs – The Primary Years Programme, The Middle Years Programme, & The Diploma Programme. Our IB programmes nurture a world of curiosity, critical thinking, and global awareness.
Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
This allows our school to offer a High School Diploma (HSD) – equivalent to a US High School Diploma – as a pathway to graduation for our students.
Board of Senior Secondary Studies
Through the accreditation by the Australian Capital Territories, Board of Senior Secondary Studies (ACT-BSSS) our students also have the opportunity to graduate with an ACT-BSSS qualification. This Australian Capital Territory (ACT) pathway provides those students with a well-recognized pathway toward graduation.
In the spirit of vei lomani (loving one another) and solesolevaki (working together), we have forged strong collaborations with regional and international organisations. These partnerships, like the harmonious ebb and flow of the tides, enrich our educational environment and expand opportunities for our students & staff.
East Asia Regional Conference of Schools (EARCOS)
This organisation connects, supports, and binds schools across the East Asia and Oceania region. Teachers, leaders, and schools connect through this network to learn and grow as individuals and institutions.
Association of International Schools in the South Pacific (AISSP)
ISS has been heavily involved in the origins and development of this organisation as it offers a wonderful chance to learn and connect with schools and educational colleagues in the South Pacific region.
College Board
ISS is a College Board Testing Centre for the SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test). This allows many of our students to sit for this test in a trusted and known environment. The SAT is an important part of the admission process for North American colleges and universities.
