The President of the Republic of India, Her Excellency Droupadi Murmu, as part of her three-day state visit to Fiji, met with the Indian diaspora community in Fiji.

President Murmu was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics, Hon. Biman Prasad.

The event was an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of the diaspora community in advancing diplomatic relations between Fiji and India.
