Director Multilateral
The Multilateral Bureau oversees the implementation of Fiji’s multilateral and international cooperation. It works with the Fiji Missions in New York, Geneva, London and Jakarta, advising on Fiji’s positions and progress on key global development issues such as the Sustainable Development Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Bureau also facilitates Fiji’s representation at key international Forums such as the Commonwealth in London, the United Nations (UN) Economic and Social Commission for Asia-Pacific (UNESCAP) based in Bangkok, the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) based in Brussels, the UN Secretariat in New York, and the United Nations (UN) Organisations in Geneva. The Bureau also works with the UN Regional Office in Suva to implement development projects on the ground and produce tangible outcomes of multilateral cooperation.
