Environmental health officers shall uphold and protect the integrity, honor and dignity of the environmental health profession by:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

  1. Using their knowledge and skills for the enhancement of human health and welfare<\/li>\n
  2. Being honest and impartial, and serving with fidelity the members of the public<\/li>\n
  3. Striving to increase the competence of environmental health profession: and<\/li>\n
  4. Supporting professional and technical societies of the same disciples.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \n2. Environmental Health Officers shall perform services only in the areas of their<\/span>
    \ncompetence:<\/span>
    \n3. Environmental Health Officers shall issue assistance only in an objective and truthful<\/span>
    \nmanner:<\/span>
    \n4. Environmental Health Officers shall act in professional matters providing services to<\/span>
    \neach client as faithful agents of trustees, and shall avoid conflicts of interest:<\/span>
    \n6. Environmental Health Officers shall build their professional reputation on the merit of<\/span>
    \ntheir services and shall not compete unfairly with others:<\/span>
    \n7. Environmental Health Officers shall act in such manner as to uphold and enhance the<\/span>
    \nhonor, integrity and dignity of the profession:<\/span>
    \n8. Environmental Health Officers shall continue their professional development<\/span>
    \nthroughout their careers and shall provide opportunities for the professional<\/span>
